Scan
Network Scanning is an optional feature which is only available on the WorkCentre 
Pro
 model. If Network Scanning has been enabled, an electronic file can be created 
from a hard copy original. The scanned document is converted to an electronic file 
and stored electronically. The electronic file can be filed, faxed, or distributed 
through e-mail.

There are other sources of information available: 
FreeFlow™ SMARTsend™
Enables the installation, set up and management of Network Scanning on the 
network. FreeFlow™ SMARTsend™ is composed of several different elements that 
work together to create and deliver the scanned document to its final destination.

CentreWare Internet Services
Internet Services is the embedded HTTP server application that is available on 
network enabled models. Internet Services enables you to access printing and 
scanning features, view status, manage jobs, and perform machine management 
tasks using a browser application over the Internet or intranet. To access Internet 
Services
 open your web browser and enter the machine’s IP Address in the 
Address or Location field.
