Content filters

•  Keyword filter – Restrict Web content based on user-defined words or phrases.
•  Advertising filter – Eliminates pop-up windows and removes banner ads that reduce 

productivity and consume bandwidth.

•  Privacy filter – Protects against cookies, webbugs and referrers that can be used to spy on 

your surfing habits and to gather personal information.

•  Media-type filter – Enables you to prevent the download and execution of any file types you 

choose, (for example MP3 files or executables). For additional security, you can allow or block 
specific media types originating from untrusted sources (for example, to permit javaScript use 
with an authorized banking site only).

  Uploads can be blocked too, thereby stopping the dissemination of sensitive data. The files to 

be blocked are thoroughly checked since file-type extensions may have been manipulated.
