ICM Technology Refresh Upgrade Tasks
Step 2
Change directory to the DomainConversionUtility directory then run domcvt.exe
For example:
a.
At the prompt type: cd\DomainConversionTool\domcvt
b.
Press Enter. An explanation of the options available for use in the command 
string appears.
Step 3
Run the Domain Conversion Tool to move user information from the ICM 4.6.2 
or ICM 5.0(0) Logger and domain controller into the new ICM/IP Call Center 
Enterprise Edition, Release 6.0(0) environment. For example:
Note
You must be able to access the location of original ICM 4.6.2 or ICM 
5.0(0) file created by the Domain Conversion Tool.
a.
Access the directory E:\ConversionBackup.
b.
At the prompt type:
domcvt.exe /DB:<enter the database name> 
/F:"E:\ConversionBackup\dbname.cvt" /M:C /OD:
<enter the old domain 
name> /ND:<enter the new domain name> /P:<enter the password>
Note
Ensure you leave a space prior to each switch (“space” /M:C, 
“space”/OD:, “space”/ND:, “space”/P) in the command above.
Note
Using the /P switch at the end of the string creates a global password 
for all users. If you do not use the /P switch, you loose your password 
until a new password is assigned. Be aware, this occurs globally and 
constitutes a security risk.
c.
A log and report are generated and stored in a local DomainConversionUtility 
directory.
