Tilt the drive to access the cable. Disconnect the cable from the hard drive. Note: If 
you are replacing the drive carrier, review the procedure “Thermal Pad and EMI 
Replacement” below.
Thermal Pad and EMI Replacement

If you are replacing the hard drive carrier, attach the thermal pad, and two rubber 
bumpers to the top side of the carrier. Note: These pieces come with the replacement 
carrier. Then, go on to the next step.
