Benefits/Advantages To Customer
Helps increase production: Eliminates nail, putty, sanding and gluing
operations formerly required in the manufacturing process. Customer estimated
a 50% savings in time and process work on completing this operation.
Helps increase productivity: Customer is able to put doors together more
quickly, enabling them to increase production quantity without sacrificing
quality. The quality of the finished product is more evident to the customer
without the many nail holes, putty, etc. Stains over putty are not a problem,
as this operation has been eliminated from the finished item.
Stronger product: When tested by the customer for bond strength, the
hardwood on the door frame broke. But the veneer/hardwood bond stayed
in place and did not break. There are no holes to weaken the overall structure.
Ultraviolet light indicator: When viewed under most ultraviolet (UV) lighting,
adhesives EZ17005 and EZ17030 have a purple tint, making it easy to detect
residue in the bondline that should be removed prior to finishing.
