Strong initial tack and high shear strength: High tack adhesive provides

immediate, strong bond–leaving no exposed adhesive and preventing web

breakage caused by adhesive blocking. 

Ideal for taping down overlap splices:  Low caliper backing on 3M™

Repulpable Single Coated Splicing Tape 9960 makes this ideal for taping down

overlsap and/or trailing edges of overlap splices.

Light blue adhesive color:  Easily identifiable to help save time and increase

productivity. 

Reliable solution for heavy or lightweight papers:  Butt splices using 3M

splicing tapes are ideal for heavy or lightweight papers where overlap splices

are too thick.  

Easy-to-remove liner: Paper liner removes quickly to reduce application time

and save labor costs.

Heat resistant adhesive:  Withstands high oven temperatures up to 400º F to

reduce down time due to splice failure and saves money.
