– Tear into desired width and length for many off-hand and machine applications
– Tear off a strip for copper pipe cleaning prior to soldering
– For ID deburring and polishing, strips can be inserted into a forked spindle and used on drills 
– Tear off a narrow strip and roll into a rope form to get into tight areas
– Use a section of a shop roll to remove rust and coatings from pipe when the pipe is rotating in a lathe
Grade Shift Recommendations
314D is FEPA graded, while many utility products are ANSI graded. The following guidelines can be used to select the proper
grades of 314D based on historical ANSI graded product usage:
