Tape is proved to be defective within the warranty period stated above, THE EXCLU-
SIVE REMEDY, AT 3M’S OPTION, SHALL BE TO REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE OF OR TO
REPAIR OR REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE 3M
VHB
TAPE.  3M shall not otherwise be liable for any
loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential, regardless of the legal 
theory asserted, including, but not limited to, contract, negligence, warranty, or strict liability.
Process

Tapes can be applied to the back side of the hat channel either by hand or by using automatic equipment.  The
liner is removed and the hat channel stiffener is pressed into place on the clean painted metal surface of the enclosure wall
or door.  A simple nip roller can be used to apply the appropriate pressure required to ensure good adhesive contact over the
entire stiffener.
