Do not accelerate and operate the brake lever until
you move off.

Warm up the engine before moving off.

Once the engine has warmed up, rotate the cold
start lever (1-Fig. 25) completely anticlockwise (in-
wards).

To start the engine with the pedal (kick start) you have
to compliance with the first three points of the

Electric

starting

then:

Act on the kick starter with your right foot, releasing
it immediately.

Neither keep the kick starter pressed, nor act
on it with the engine on.

Go on with the last three points of the

Electric start-

ing
