My laptop display is distorted.

The native display of the DS1 is 800x600. Set your Windows display to 800x600, then change the projector setting to RGB

Standard. On the projector keypad, Press Menu and choose Source Menu. In Source Menu use the Plus or Minus keys to

change the selection and press Enter.

Note: the DS1 can display a "scaled" 1024x768 image. To choose this option, set Source Menu to Custom 6.

Where can I download a copy of the DS1 FX Laser Remote software ?

If you need a copy of the DS1 FX software, it is available from the DS1 Projector Software webpage.

Why doesn't my internal speaker work, when an external speaker is connected?

Connecting an external speaker disables the internal speaker circuit.

Why doesn't the projector's internal volume adjustment work when an external speaker is connected?

The internal speaker's volume control is disabled when an external speaker is connected.

How do I reset the lamp timer on the DS1?

With the Lamp Hours showing in the POWER MENU, using the remote (CAN ONLY RESET USING THE REMOTE, CAN'T USE

THE KEYPAD), push and hold the ON button for ~10 seconds. You will see the lamp hours reset to 0 hours.

How do you reset the Custom 1 through Custom 5 source modes on the DS1?

In the SETTINGS MENU, choose the Custom Source that you want to Reset in the CUSTOM MEMORY Box, use the + or - on

the Remote or Projector's Keypad to choose the correct Custom Setting, for example, Custom 1. Now choose the RESET Box

in the SETTINGS MENU. Hold down the Adjust + button on the Remote or the Projector's Keypad for at least 2 seconds. You
will then get a "Completed" indication in the RESET Box. This will only have reset the Custom 1 source setting, so if other

Custom Source modes need to be Reset, they could be reset the same way.
