OPERATION AS DC CAMERA SUPPLY FROM MAINS 
The Tandem will automatically operate as a DC power supply once the camera, or other 
device is turned on.  There are no switches, it is fully automatic.  The single green LED 
will light indicating that the unit is operating as a power supply.

A battery may be attached to Tandem while mounted to a camera.  With the camera OFF, 
the battery will charge.  When camera is turned ON, Tandem will supply power to 
camera remembering the point at which it left charging.  When camera is turned off, 
Tandem will again resume battery charging. 
If AC line voltage is removed from the Tandem, and a charged battery is mounted on the 
unit, power from the battery will be routed to the camera.  When AC line voltage is 
restored, the battery will be re-evaluated for a proper charge routine. 
Top Edge of Paper is used as a 
Cropmark.
TIP: When camera is used on stakeout, (such as indoors on a tripod) keeping a battery 
mounted to the Tandem allows instant switching to handheld. Simply remove the power 
cord for an automatic switch to battery power.  
WARNING: DO NOT OPERATE THIS UNIT IN THE RAIN. 
POWER LOSS 
If AC power is lost during operation the unit will function in the following manner: 
-When charging a battery, the green status LED will blink once every three seconds. 
-When powering a camera with a battery applied, the green status LED will blink once 
every three seconds. 
-When powering a camera and no battery is applied, no LEDs will be lit.
