HT-120 Replacing the Foot and Calf Massager

Removal and Replacement of the HT-100 102 110 120 130 Calf 
Foot Massager
 
 
Purpose: Removal and replacement of the Calf Foot Massager for HT massage chairs. For HTT-10-CRP 
Chairs with Serial Numbers ABOVE: 5100481 (Black Leather), 5300097 (Cream Leather), 5500021 (Black 
Vinyl),5700097 (Cream Vinyl). 
Tools/Parts Required:  Pliers (needle nose and locking), Phillips screwdriver, Small Blade screwdriver 
 
POWER OFF CHAIR USING ON/OFF SWITCH AND DISCONNECT FROM AC WALL 
OUTLET 
 
REMOVAL and Replacement 
1.  Remove seat cushion from chair. 
2.  Raise the Calf Foot Massager into its highest position. Do this by releasing the handle on the 
Right side of the chair (as you are sitting in the chair). Locate the Gas Shock under the left side 
of the Calf Foot Massager. Remove the small e-clip with a small screwdriver blade or needle 
nose pliers. Using a pair of pliers (locking) remove the silver hinge pin. You may need to apply 
a twisting motion to do this. Support the Calf Foot Massager unit when you remove the pin. 
Allow the shock to hang free. FIGURE 2 
3.  Locate the two Silver Pivot Pins securing the Footrest/Calf Massager. Each pin is locked into 
place with a brace secured by a Phillips Head Screw. FIGURE 3 Remove the screw and 
bracket from both the left and right sides. Using a pair of locking pliers, remove the hinge pins.

 You may need to apply a twisting motion to do this. Support the weight of the Calf 
Foot Massager unit when you remove the second pin. Set the unit on the ground. FIGURE 6 
4.  You will need to follow the cable leading from the Calf Foot Massager to the electrical junction 
box and cut or release the cable ties securing it to the frame. FIGURE 7 
5.  Locate the electrical connector box located underneath the right side of chair. Remove the two 
screws securing the cover to the box. Disconnect the white connector leading to the Calf Foot 
Massager. You will need to depress the locking lever on the connector. FIGURE 8-10 
6.  You can now remove the entire Calf Foot Massager and cable from the chair. 
7.  Replacement of the unit is done in reverse order of removal. Use cable ties to re-secure the 
cable to the frame of the chair. 
8.  Reconnect electric connector disconnected from step 5 above. Place the connector back in 
electrical box, ensuring the black covering cable is inside the box, and no wires are exposed 
outside the box. Reinstall the cover with the two screws.
