7. From the grass bag 

side of the handle, 
insert the stud on 
the end of the 
handle support plate 
through the handle 
support hanger. 
Make sure the stud 
goes through both 
holes in the handle 
support hanger.

8. Install an 8 mm 

self-locking nut on 
the stud. 

9. Tighten the locknut 

on the stud at each 
end of the handle 
support plate.

10. Repeat Steps 5 

through 9 to install 
the handle support 
on the other side of 
the lawn mower.
Lock Nut Torque: 
15 ft-lb (21 N•m)

11. Position cable ties at 

the locations shown.
