BATTERY INSTALLATION
Home Receiver:
Lift off the battery cover at the back and install 2 fresh “AA”
alkaline batteries according to the polarity
indicated. Replace the battery cover. Batteries are not included.
Remote Sensor:
Lift off the bracket stand, loosen the 4 screws with a small screwdriver, insert 2 fresh “AAA” alkaline
batteries according to the polarity indicated. Replace the cover and tighten the 4 screws. Batteries are
not included.
SETTING UP THE WIRELESS THERMOMETER:
•
Always insert batteries to the home unit and then the remote sensor.Press the CHANNEL button
to Ch 1 for the first sensor. Always insert batteries to the home unit and then the remote sensor.
Your new RF Thermometer is built with random security code technology, The home unit will
learn the random code of the remote sensor and registered without being interfered with by a
neighbor who may be using the same type of sensor under the same channel setting. The base
unit can monitor up to 3 remote sensors. One sensor is included with this item.

When replacing batteries for the remote sensor, remember to clear the corresponding channel of
the home unit in this way: Select the respective channel by pressing the CHANNEL button then
hold the CHANNEL button 3 seconds to clear the registration.

Press the Tx button on the back of remote sensor to verify the RF reception.

one second per every 3,000 years. The signal covers a distance up to 2,000 miles from the source.

Thank you for your purchase of this Acu>Rite weather monitoring station. This handy unit can be used
on a desk or table top or, with the base removed, can be wall mounted. The LCD screen displays the
current outdoor temperature & humidity readings along with the trend information, on the top line of the
display. The second line shows the indoor temperature & humidity. The next line shows the time which
is updated daily via reception of the NIST signal which is broadcast from Fort Collins, Colorado. This
signal is the government standard for accuracy. The Atomix clock also resets it self for Daylight Saving
Time each fall and spring. The DST symbol is shown on this line also. The last line of the display shows
the month, date, day of the week and the current phase of the moon.
