Configuring the QuickPoint

This utility allows you to modify the outlook of the pointer, it’s motion, speed and tracks, or to select
another pointing device.

Open

Mouse properties

Control Panel

(If the illustration does not resemble your mouse, please

ensure that you have the correct driver installed).

Change the settings according to your needs.

Click on

OK.

Defining resolution or changing font size

It is important that you select a resolution suitable for the size of your screen.

Select

Start - Settings- Control Panel - Display - Settings

and then the screen resolution you

require in the

Resolution

field.

Under

Start - Settings - Control Panel - Display - Settings

you can choose between a larger and a

smaller font in the

Font size

field.

Changing the screen brightness for an LCD monitor with a TFT display

You can adjust the brightness of your screen with the keys

[Fn]

and

[F6]

or [

F7]

[Fn]

with

[F6]

decreases screen brightness and

[Fn]

with

[F7]

increases screen brightness.

Synchronising the display on the LCD monitor and an external monitor

Your notebook supports the simultaneous display on the LCD monitor and an external monitor.
Pressing the key combination

[Fn]

[F10]

switches between LCD only, external monitor and LCD

and external monitor only. The last setting is useful if you would like high resolution and refresh rate
on an external monitor.

Changing the cursor speed

Double click on the

My Computer

symbol in the upper left-hand corner of the desktop.

The

My Computer

window appears.

Double-click on the

Control Panel

folder.

The

Control Panel

window appears.

Double-click on the

Mouse

symbol.

A dialogue field appears.

Select the

Movement

tab.

Change the cursor speed.
