CAUTION
When using the Quick-Shift Focus System, keep pressing the shutter release button (or AF button)
after you achieve focus and before taking a picture. If you let go of the shutter release button before
taking the picture, autofocus will operate all over again when you press the shutter release button
again.
However, you can use the menus to set the camera according to the procedure below so you can
take the picture without autofocusing after letting go of the shutter release button. See the camera
operating manual for details about the setting procedure.
