Making Copies
NOTE
● When using the Double Exposure Mode, the M5 is turned On and other job requiring memory
cannot be used.
● The default setting of Double Exposure Mode is "ON" in the Copier Settings "19 Double
Exposure". If this setting is changed to "OFF", this mode cannot be used.
Select Double Exposure copy mode when copying
a 2-Sided original that is smaller than A5 size onto
one side of a standard size media (Ex: A4 size). One
side (Front) of the original is copied at the top of the
page, and the other side (Back) is copied at the
bottom on the copied page.
NOTE:
● If the ADF is opened during Double
Exposure copy mode, an incorrect position
detection of the original may occur when a
strong light shines onto the glass.
● An incorrect exposure may occur when
there is a black line at the edge of the
original, or an image which the machine
interprets as a black pattern in this mode.
● The final copy may be affected if coloured
background original(s) do not have a white
edge, or if they are less than 2 mm wide.
