Besides representing an elegant combination of 
technology and design, the SUB 211 D is a flexible means 

for providing spectacular acoustic backdrops and exacting 

stereo sound. The heart of the SUB 211 D is a 

technologically advanced, high-output digital power 
amplifier that drives a 250 mm aluminium sandwich woofer 

and guarantees a high degree of efficiency and more bass 

output. A newly-developed concept allows the 

simultaneous connection of three loudspeakers and the 
LFE signal, which makes bass management unnecessary.  

A new feature: the 3 micro-controllers, which not only 

ensure smooth control of the analogue electronics but also 

for the first time provide a new operating concept which 
embraces a remote control, a graphic user-interface with 

high-resolution display and 3-key control on the device 

itself. The advantages of digital technology are expressed 

in the low standby power consumption of less than 0,5 W.  
 

A 250 mm aluminium sandwich woofer on the baffle and a 

downward orientated passive radiator prevent ventilation 
noise and offer higher sound levels – even at the lowest 

frequency ranges. 

 

•  ESP

®

 is a frequency- and power-dependent stabilisation program for controlled bass reproduction even under 

extreme loads. The electronic assistant also ensures that the drivers do not produce any noise. In contrast to 

“conventional” subwoofers without ESP

®

, it is practically impossible to over-load active subwoofers with ESP

®

. 

•  Parallel connection options for 3 loudspeaker inputs (e.g. left, right and centre) and simultaneously, an LFE 

connection for surround receivers 

•  Continuously adjustable crossover frequency of volume  for maximum flexibility – the SUB 211 D adapts with 

excellent results to satellites, differing listening preferences and speaker array options.  

•  Phase of the subwoofer to compensate phase differences between satellites and subwoofer can be adjusted 

•  Automatic on/off switch with approx. 15 min switch-off delay

resonance-free sound reproduction, height-adjustable, optionally fitted with spikes or silicone caps.
