The first SAS/SATA adapter developed using the PCIe 3.0 specification, the ExpressSAS 

H6F0 GT is capable of speeds up to 8GB/sec in a single PCIe slot, effectively doubling the 

performance over existing HBAs. 

 

The ExpressSAS 6Gb/s GT SAS/SATA HBA is available with sixteen (16) external mini-SAS 

HD ports to support a dense and efficient connection to external storage from rack-

mounted servers and workstations in datacenter, data warehousing, VOD and other high-

availability, high-performance applications 

 

ExpressSAS 6Gb/s GT host bus adapters combine 6Gb/s SAS speeds and x8 PCI Express 3.0 

with powerful hardware and software elements to manage latency in real-time

most significant point of failure, are often difficult to troubleshoot. The H6F0 GT is able to 

isolate cable and connector failures (and intermittent problems) through a independent 

control of each port, as well as discovery and cable management data passed through the 

mini-SAS HD connectors.
