HighPoint’s Chameleon Storage Management Suite allows administrators to quickly and easily configure available devices into single-

disk, JBOD and RAID configurations. A real-time event log records administrative actions and error/warning conditions issued for all 

hosted storage devices. Email notification and alert services to keep abreast of changing storage conditions.

The  Chameleon  Storage  Management  suite  also  includes  a  selection  of  real-time  enclosure  monitoring  services,  which  report  the 

status  of  critical  chassis  components  and  environmental  conditions. Administrators  can  monitor  the  status  of  power  supply  units, 

voltage and the ambient temperature of storage enclosures. Administrators can establish thresholds and enable warning systems to 

match the specific needs of each storage configuration, and adjust fan speeds in order to maintain stable operating conditions.

The  HighPoint  Rocket  EJ240  is  a  SATS-JBOD  storage  expnsion  and 

system  management  device  board  designed  for  use  with  RocketRAID 

2700  SAS  6Gb/s  HBA’s.  The  Rocket  EJ240  supports  up  to  16  devices 

from  a  single  SFF-8088  connector,  effectively  quadrupling  the  storage 

capability  of  individual  Mini-SAS  ports.  The  Rocket  EJ240  is  ideal  for 

low-cost, high-density storage applications

Rocket EJ240 Device Boards support up to 16 SATA devices, quadrupling 

the port count of each SFF-8088 connector. Multiple EJ240 can be integrated 

into a single enclosure, providing a versatile, highly scalable platform for 

cost-effective, high-density storage solutions.

Rocket EJ240 device boards can be paired with a wide range of RocketRAID 

2700 HBA’s, in order to deliver storage solutions that meet client's exact
