The QLogic Fibre Channel QLE2460 and QLE2462 host bus adapters (HBAs) will replace the current QLA2340 in
PRIMERGY servers. These HBAs offer along with the 4Gb/s Fibre Channel interface twice the bandwidth compared to
their predecessor. The host interface is upgraded to PCI Express to fit optimally in current and future server
generations. A single- and a dual-channel HBA are available in a low-profile form factor.

Highest reliability, performance and ease of deployment
The QLE2462 is a true enterprise-class HBA with 4-Gb/s to
PCI Express x4. This high-performance HBA is the most
reliable HBA in the industry. It supplies unrivalled
performance by leveraging a single ASIC design and
combines a unique hardware architecture to deliver over
300,000 IOPS, a throughput of nearly 1.6 Gb/s, and support
for PCI Express x4 bus speeds.
