This product is intended to working with the RC Logger (not included) to provide ambient information (temperature,
humidity, pressure and height) for a model vehicle. The external temperature sensor provides temperature information
from different parts of the model vehicle such as the battery or the motor. The product is powered by the RC Logger.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can
cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them.
Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

the environmental module may not work with strong electromagnetic interference. stay
away from sources of electromagnetic interference and restart the environmental module
if you have had problems with it.
Attach the environmental module to the model vehicle body firmly with cable ties, glue or double sided

adhesive tape.
When installing the module, make sure that the cables connected to the module are not kinked
nor pinched.

Connect the environmental module to the RC Logger with the logger connection cable provided via the

socket “I/O” at the bottom of the environmental module.
Alternatively, the environmental module can also be connected to the RC Logger via another RC Logger

module (which supports serial I

C connection). Read the operating instructions of the module before
connecting them. Connect the environmental module to a module with the module connection cable
provided and connect the module to the RC Logger.
Connect up to three low range temperature sensors to “Ext 1”, “Ext 2” or “Ext 3”. You can also connect a

high range temperature sensor (not included) to “Ext 1”. Set the jumper (not included) “JP1” to use the high
range temperature sensor.
“Ext 2” and “Ext 3” do not support the high range temperature sensor.
Attach the temperature sensors to the object whose temperature you would like to measure.

Power on the RC Logger. The red LED on the environmental module lights up indicating the module is

turned on.
Then, the green LED on the environmental module lights up. This indicates the environmental module is

operating.
Record videos or take photos with the RC Logger, ambient information is recorded to the RC Logger at

the same time.
Refer to the instructions of the RC Logger for data retrieval.

In order to preserve, protect and improve the quality of environment, protect human health and
utilise natural resources prudently and rationally, the user should return unserviceable product to
relevant facilities in accordance with statutory regulations.
The crossed-out wheeled bin indicates the product needs to be disposed separately and not as
municipal waste.
