Choice A:
Galaxy 3000 Parallel module (20/30kVA)
for redundancy or capacity
simply by bussing the output of the modules to share the load equally. If any module goes
offline, the critical load is supported by the remaining modules. Should the remaining
modules go offline, the critical load will automatically and seamlessly transfer to the
utility via an internal module static bypass switch. Parallel intelligence resides in each module
for true redundancy. MGE offers several versions of the system wrap-around bypass (SBC),
including distribution and secondary UPS isolation breakers, to allow safe and hassle
free operation.
Choice B:
Galaxy 3000 Single Module in an Isolated Redundant
UPS system design
offers unmatched flexibility. The basic concept of this design is to always provide clean,
conditioned power to the critical load, never raw utility power, regardless of UPS shutdown
or maintenance operation.
Redundancy is accomplished by installing an equally sized Single UPS modules that supplies
the bypass static switch and maintenance bypass of the primary module supplying the load.
The illustration depicts a two module (1+1) isolated redundant system.
