In 3.3V single supply mode the internal regulator is connected to the 3.3V source (VDDIN pin)
and its output feeds VDDCORE. 

 shows the power schematics to be used for 3.3 V

single supply mode. All I/O lines will be powered by the same power (VDDIN=VDDIO).
