Types of Control Elements
Your TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 holds various types of control elements, which we will quickly
describe here.

6.2.1
Buttons
HotCue buttons on your S4.
Buttons are spread everywhere over your TRAKTOR KONTROL S4. They can have three Flavors:

Some buttons trigger a function when they’re pressed (“trigger” action), e.g. the Hotcue
buttons: hit one of the Hotcue buttons, this triggers the playback to continue from there.
