Operating instructions
CCD colour camera, 540 TVL, 3.6 mm
Proper use according to manufacturer's instructions
The camera in the metal enclosure serves for observation and protection of non-visible 
or critical areas, respectively (e.g. shop monitoring, entry phones, entrance area, etc.) 
The recorded images can be replayed on any suitable TV set or monitor with video 
input.
The camera is suitable for operation in outdoor areas (IP65).
Power is supplied via 12V/DC (power supply unit available; a 12V/DC 500 mA power 
supply unit is recommended).
The built-in IR LEDs enable coverage of a max. of 20 metres at dark.
The camera's integrated infrared LEDs enable night vision. Please note that coloured 
image reproduction changes into black and white monochrome when increasing dark-
ness activates the IR-LEDs. The brightness is detected by the camera using a photo 
sensor on the front.
Please bear in mind that it is prohibited by law to observe strangers with a camera 
without their knowledge and consent.
Operating the product in any other way than described above is not permitted and 
may lead to damage to the product, which can give rise to risks such as short circuit, 
fi re and electric shock. The product must not be modifi ed or converted. Always ob-
serve the safety instructions included in these operating instructions. Read the operat-
ing instructions carefully and keep them for later reference.

 The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to ob-
serve these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any 
consequential damage!
 We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused 
by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The 
warranty will be null and void in such cases.
•  The camera must not be modifi ed or converted, as not only will the CE ap-
proval become void but also the warranty. 
•  The camera should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sun-
light, intense vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
•  The camera's integrated infrared LEDs enable night vision. Please note that 
coloured image reproduction changes into black and white monochrome 
when increasing darkness activates the IR-LEDs. The brightness is detected 
by the camera using a photo sensor on the front.
•  Where the device is used connected to other devices e.g. a monitor and a 
mains supply unit, the operating instructions and safety instructions of the 
connected devices must be followed.
•  The use of the surveillance camera system does not replace the personal 
supervision of children, or people who require special assistance, but only 
serves as a support to this supervision.
•  After rapid changes in temperature, the camera requires approx. 15 to stabi-
lise, in order to adjust to the surrounding temperature, before it can be used.
•  Electronic devices are not toys and should be kept out of the reach of chil-
dren! 
•  Please contact a qualifi ed person if you are unsure about the safety and  
correct use of the camera. 
•  Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic fi lm/
bags etc. can be dangerous playthings for children; there is a risk of suffoca-
tion.
•  If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis-
connect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
•  It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
  - the device is visibly damaged,
  - the device does not function any longer and
  -  the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of 
time 
or
  - it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation.
•  In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Em-
ployer’s Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating 
Materials are to be observed.
•  The camera is suitable for operation in outdoor areas (IP65).
•  Power is supplied via 12V/DC (power supply unit available; a 12V/DC 500 mA 
power supply unit is recommended).
•  Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualifi ed 
specialist or a specialised repair shop.
•  If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please 
contact our technical service or another specialist.
