MAINTENANCE
5.  Using two people, tip the pressure washer toward 
the container until level with the ground.
x Do not tip the pressure washer upside down. 
Maintain the position until oil has stopped 
dripping from the oil fi lter tube.
6.  Return the pressure washer to the upright position.
7.  With a clean rag, throughly clean around the oil 
fi ller cap.Allow oil to completely drain.
8.  Fill crankcase with oil following the steps outlined in 
Adding Engine Oil on page 32.
9.  Dispose of used engine oil properly.
Model WP3000
1.  Stop the engine.
2.  Let engine sit and cool for several minutes (allow 
crankcase pressure to equalize).
3.  Place oil pan (or suitable container) under one 
of the two oil drain plugs. The oil drain plugs are 
located on either side of the engine.
4.  With a damp rag, thoroughly clean around the oil 
drain plug.
5.  Place a fl exible piece of plastic or cardboard below 
the oil drain plug and above the frame.
6.  Remove the oil drain plug (see Figure 41). Once 
removed, place the oil drain plug on a clean 
surface.

7.  Remove the oil fi ll plug/dipstick so the oil can drain 
more easily from the oil drain port.
8.  Allow oil to completely drain.
9.  Replace oil drain plug.
10.  Fill crankcase with oil following the steps outlined in 
Adding Engine Oil on page 32.
11.  Dispose of used engine oil properly.
NOTICE
Never dispose of used engine oil by dumping the oil 
into a sewer, on the ground, or into groundwater or 
waterways. Always be environmentally responsible. 
Follow the guidelines of the Environmental Protection 
Agency (EPA) or other governmental agencies for 
proper disposal of hazardous materials. Consult local 
authorities or reclamation facility. 
AIR FILTER MAINTENANCE

 WARNING
Never use gasoline or other fl ammable 
solvents to clean the air fi lter. Use only 
household detergent soap to clean the 
air fi lter. 
 Model WP2700
The air fi lter must be replaced after every 50 hours of 
use or every year (frequency should be increased if 
pressure washer is operated in a dusty environment).
OTE:

The air fi lter cannot be cleaned with 
compressed air.
1.  Turn off the pressure washer and let it cool for 
several minutes if running.
2.  Move the pressure washer to a fl at, level surface.
3.  Loosen the knob and open the air cleaner cover 
(see Figure 42).

4.  Clean the air cleaner cover with a clean rag.
