Welcome to your new Pine.
Before turning on your new Pine, make sure you have 
properly inserted your micro-SIM card into the micro-
SIM card slot. To turn on your Pine, press and hold 
the Power/Lock button for a few seconds. Follow the 
instructions onscreen to properly set up your Pine. 
Basic Navigation
To unlock your Pine, press the Power/Lock button once 
and slide the Lock Screen in any direction. To turn off or 
restart the Pine, press and hold the Power/Lock button, 
then tap Power Off. To turn off the Pine’s screen but still 
receive calls, text messages, notifications, etc., press the 
Power/Lock button once. To adjust the volume, press the 
Volume Up or Volume Down buttons. To return to the 
default Launcher screen, touch the Home button. Touch 
the Menu button to bring up any menu or settings of a 
specific application or screen. Touch the Back button to 
return to the previous screen. 
Applications
To launch applications, tap the App Drawer icon in 
the Home screen, and tap the application you wish 
to launch. To add widgets to the Home screen, swipe 
to the Widget grid in the App Drawer and drag the 
Widget that you wish to have to your Home screen. The 
Pine runs standard Android Jelly Bean, so all existing 
Android applications are supported on the Pine and 
may be sideloaded.

Phone
The Pine has a built-in speaker and microphone. You 
may make calls by speaking to the Pine in speaker mode 
while holding it in your hand or when it is attached to the 
Neptune Watchband. You may also make calls by using 
standard Bluetooth headsets/speakers. The Pine does 
not have an in-ear speaker receiver, therefore the Pine 
may not be used close to the ear when making calls.

Neptune Watchband
The Neptune Watchband allows you to use your Pine as 
a wrist-worn cellular device. 
To Insert Device
To insert the Pine into the Watchband, align the 
Connector Slot on the top part of the Pine with the 
metal connector pins.
To Remove Device
To remove the Pine from the Watchband, push 
downwards (see figure below) on the Device Release 
Button on the holder of the strap, and gently take out 
the Pine from the Watchband.

Cameras
The Pine has two cameras, a VGA Front-facing Camera, 
and a Rear-facing 5-Megapixel Camera. Both cameras 
are equipped with LED Flash.
