 Build new system restore point after each program update - before each

AVG program updat e launch, a system rest ore point is creat ed. In case t he
updat e process fails and your operat ing syst em crashes you can always
rest ore your OS in its original configuration from t his point . This opt ion is
accessible via St art / All Programs / Accessories / System t ools / System
Restore,  but  any changes can be recommended t o experienced users only!
Keep t his check-box t icked if you want  t o make use of t his funct ionality.

 Use DNS update - mark t his check box t o confirm you want  t o use t he updat e

files detect ion met hod t hat  eliminates data amount transferred between the update
server and AVG client;

 Require confirmation to close running applications item (switched on by

default) will help you make sure no currently running applicat ions will be closed
wit hout  your permission - if required for t he updat e process t o be finalized;

 Check computer time - mark t his opt ion t o declare you wish t o have

not ification displayed in case t he comput er t ime differs from t he correct  t ime
more t han specified number of hours.
