The Resident Shield - Directory Excludes dialog offers t he possibility of defining
folders t hat  should be excluded from t he 

 scanning. If t his is not

essential, we strongly recommend not excluding any direct ories! If you decide t o
exclude a folder from 

 scanning, t he new sett ings will only t ake effect

aft er t he comput er is restart ed! 

The dialog provides t he following control but t ons:

 Add path –  specify direct ories t o be excluded from t he scanning by select ing

t hem one by one from t he local disk navigation t ree

 Add list – allows you t o ent er a whole list  of direct ories t o be excluded from

t he 

 scanning

 Edit path – allows you t o edit  t he specified pat h t o a select ed folder

 Edit list – allows you t o edit  t he list  of folders
