options dialog where you can decide whet her t he comput er should be shut
down aut omatically once t he running scanning process is over. Having
confirmed t his option (Shutdown computer upon scan completion), a new
opt ion act ivates t hat  allows t he comput er t o shut  down even if it  is current ly
locked (Force shutdown is computer is locked).

Should you decide t o change t he default  configuration of t he Scan the whole
computer you can t hen save your new set t ing as   t he default  configuration t o be
used for all furt her scans of t he whole comput er.

Scan specific files or folders - scans only t hose areas of your comput er t hat you
have select ed t o be scanned (select ed folders, hard disks, floppy discs, CDs, et c.).
The scanning progress in case of virus det ect ion and its t reat ment is t he same as with
t he scan of t he whole computer: any virus found is healed or removed t o t he 

. Specific files or folders scanning can be used t o set up your own t ests and

t heir scheduling based on your needs.

The Scan of specific files or folders can be launched direct ly from t he 

 by clicking on t he scan's icon. A new dialog called Select specific files or

folders for scanning opens. In t he t ree st ruct ure of your comput er select  t hose
folders you want  t o have scanned. The path t o each select ed folder will generate
aut omatically and appear in t he t ext  box in t he upper part  of t his dialog. 

There is also a possibility of having a specific folder scanned while all its subfolders are
excluded from t his scanning; t o do t hat writ e a minus sign "-" in front of t he
