The Anti-Rootkit  user int erface provides a brief descript ion of t he component 's
funct ionalit y, informs on t he component's current   st at us (Anti-Rootkit component is
active.) and also brings informat ion on t he last t ime t he Anti-Rootkit  t est was
launched.

In t he bott om part  of t he dialog you can find t he Anti-Rootkit settings sect ion where
you can set up some elementary funct ions of t he root kit  presence scanning. First ,
mark up t he respect ive check-boxes t o specify object s t hat  should be scanned:

 Scan applications

 Scan DLL libraries

 Scan drivers

Further you can pick t he rootkit scanning mode:

 Quick rootkit scan - scans only t he syst em folder (typically c:\Windows)

 Full rootkit scan - scans all accessible disks except  for A: and B:
