 Enable Safe Surf - (on by default): act ive (real-time) prot ect ion against

exploitive sites as t hey are accessed. Known malicious sit e connect ions and
t heir exploit ive content  is blocked as t hey are accessed by t he user via a web
browser (or any other application that uses HTTP).

 Enable reporting to AVG of exploited websites - (on by default): mark t his

it em t o allow back report ing of exploits and bad sit es found by users eit her via 
Safe Surf  or Safe Search t o feed t he database collect ing informat ion on
malicious act ivity on t he web.

The advanced scan set t ings is divided into t hree cat egories referring t o specific scan
t ypes as defined by t he soft ware vendor:
