The Web Shield component 's interface describes t he behavior of t his t ype of
protect ion. Further you can find information on t he component's current st at us (Web
Shield is active and fully functional.).  In t he bot t om part  of t he dialog you will t hen
find t he elementary editing opt ions of t his component's funct ionality. 

First of all, you have t he opt ion t o immediately switch on/off t he Web Shield by
checking t he Enable Web Shield it em. This option is enabled by default , and t he Web
Shield  component  is act ive. However, if you do not  have a good reason t o change t his
set t ings, we recommend t o keep t he component  act ive. If t he it em is checked, and
t he Web Shield is running, more configurat ion options are available and editable on
t wo t abs:

 Web - you can edit  t he component 's configurat ion regarding t he scan of t he

website cont ent . The edit ing interface allows you t o configure t he following
element ary opt ions:

Web protection - t his opt ion confirms t hat t he Web Shield should
perform scanning of t he www pages content . Provided t his option is on (
by default), you can furt her swit ch on/off t hese it ems:
