 WARNING
Never use gasoline or other fl ammable 
solvents to clean the air fi lter. Use only 
household detergent soap to clean the 
air fi lter. 
The air fi lter foam element must be cleaned after every 
50 hours of use or every year (frequency should be 
increased if pressure washer is operated in a dusty 
environment). The air fi lter paper element must be 
replaced after every 50 hours of use or every year 
(frequency should be increased if pressure washer is 
operated in a dusty environment).
1.  Turn off the pressure washer and let it cool for 
several minutes if running.
2.  Move the pressure washer to a fl at, level surface.
 
3.  Clean the air cleaner cover with a clean rag.
4.  Push on the air fi lter cover and lift up 
(see Figure 60).

5.  Remove the air fi lter element and replace it 
(see Figure 61).

6.  Install a new air fi lter element.
7.  Install the air cleaner cover onto the air fi lter 
housing, making sure the tabs on the air cleaner 
cover fi t into the slots on the air cleaner housing 
(see Figure 62).
