Tips
You can record, play, or edit movies in the 
selected image quality only. To record, play, or 
edit movies in another image quality, change 
this setting.
Selecting the recording mode
You can switch the recording mode to 
select the movie quality when recording 
high definition image quality (HD) movies 
([Standard 
] is the default setting). 
The recording time of the memory card is 
changed depending on the recording mode.

Tips
When PS mode for high definition image 
quality (HD) is selected, movies are recorded 
at 1920  1080/60p (NEX-VG30/VG30H), or 
1920  1080/50p (NEX-VG30E/VG30EH). 
When FX or FH mode is selected, movies 
are recorded at 1920  1080/60i / 1920  
1080/24p (NEX-VG30/VG30H), or 1920  
1080/50i / 1920  1080/25p (NEX-VG30E/
VG30EH). When HQ or LP mode for high 
definition image quality (HD) is selected, 
movies are recorded at 1440  1080/60i 
(NEX-VG30/VG30H), or 1440  1080/50i 
(NEX-VG30E/VG30EH).
