How to Set Smooth Cooktop Burners
Note:  You may hear slight "clicking" sounds during cooking. These sounds are normal and indicate  the control is maintaining the
            power level set on the knob.
Burners A,B, E & F:
- Push the knobs in and turn in either direction to the setting desired.
- The higher number selected represents the higher temperature .
- At both the low (1) and high(7) settings, the control will "click" into position.
Control will also "click" and pop back up, in the off (0) position.
- Please be sure control knob is turned off (0) when your finished cooking.
Dual Surface Unit Control Knob - Burner C:
Dual element has two cooking sizes available to select from in order to offer
the versatility to match the size of the heating element, to the size of the
cookware being used.
To use the 
inner surface heating element (5-6"):
- Push the knob in and turn counterclockwise to settings 1 through 3.
Control panel screening matches corresponding heating element selected.
To use the 
entire heating element (8-9"):
- Push the knob in and then to settings 1 through 5.
Control panel screening shows both inner and outer surface units heating
- The higher number selected represents higher temperature.
Bridge Burner operation - Burner D (48" models only):
Bridge Burner offers the versatility of using the rear element only or the rear
element and the bridge (Fig. A), the front element only (Fig. B) or all three
settings simultaneously, thanks to the two separate controls.
 To use the 
rear element only:
- Push the knob in and turn counterclockwise to settings 1 through 3.
 To use the 
rear and bridge sections:
- Push the knob in and turn to settings 1 through 5.
Control panel screening matches corresponding heating elements selected.
The higher number selected represent high temperature.
 To use
 front element in bridge burner:
- Push knob in and turn in either direction to the desired setting.
The higher number selected represents the higher temperature.
To use 
all three elements simultaneously:
- Operate both controls and turn to desired settings.
Indicator lights (all Burners):
A general burner indicator light will glow red when one or more radiant
heating elements are turned on, and will remain "on" until the last heating
element is turned off.
Each burner also has a dedicated light which will glow when the radiant ele-
ment is hot, and will remain "on", even after the control has been turned off,
until the surface is cooled to approximately 150 degrees Fahrenheit.
