Operating on Battery Power

A fully charged battery provides approximately seven hours of use at maximum 

volume. The rate of battery discharge varies with the volume setting.
To check the battery charge level, press and hold

   while observing the battery 

indicator

 

. You hear remaining battery percentage.

Tip: To extend the battery playback time, reduce the volume.

Charging / Medium charge

Charge needed / Low charge

Note:  Recommended charging time is four hours (see page 11).

When the system is unplugged and unused for three days with a remaining charge 

of less than 10 percent, it enters battery protection mode to preserve battery 

power. To reactivate the system, connect it to AC (mains) power (see page 10). 
Note:   Do not store the system for extended periods when the battery indicator 

 blinks red. When not in use, store the speaker in a cool place.  

Do not store the system fully charged for long periods of time.
