1. See the instruction manual provided with the ice maker for ice maker installation. If an instruction manual is not 

available, visit our website at www.bringperlick.com or contact Perlick Technical Support at (800)558.5592.

2. The icemaker and this kit should be installed only by qualifi ed service personnel to reduce the risk of death, electric 

shock, serious injury, or fi re. A plumbing permit and the services of a licensed plumber may be required in some 
areas.

3. THE ICE MAKER MUST BE GROUNDED: The icemaker is equipped with a 3-prong grounding plug to reduce 

the risk of potential shock hazards. It must be plugged into a properly grounded, independent wall outlet. If the 
outlet is a 2-prong outlet, it is your personal responsibility to have a qualifi ed electrician replace it with a properly 
grounded, independent 3-prong wall outlet. Do not remove the ground prong from the power cord and do not use 
an adapter plug.

4. The icemaker and this kit must be installed in accordance with applicable national, state, and local codes and 

regulations.

5. Failure to install the icemaker and this kit within these guidelines may adversely aff ect safety, performance, 

component life, and warranty coverage.
