The LSIU320, PCI-X single-channel Ultra320 SCSI 
HBA, is a general purpose card ideal for attaching 
JBODs, RAID arrays, tape drives, tape libraries, 
magneto-optical drives, DVD libraries and other 
SCSI peripherals to workstations and servers. 
Through its seamless backward compatibility with 
all previous SCSI generations and PCI host bus 
slot types, the LSIU320 protects your investment 
in existing hardware, while delivering superior 
Ultra320 performance. With support for up to 
15 SCSI devices, the LSIU320 enables incredible 
flexibility in configuring your system. This makes 
the LSIU320 a great option for either upgrading an 
existing system or optimizing a new workstation 
or server.

The LSIU320 not only moves data blazingly fast, 
but it also insures unmatched data reliability  
and signal quality. With LSI TolerANT™ technology, 
the card improves data integrity in less than ideal 
cabling environments. Additionally, SureLINK™ 
domain validation verifies that  all devices are 
able to communicate at the negotiated SCSI 
transfer rate and optimizes the connection 
between the card and each device on the bus. 
The net result is exceptional data reliability and 
optimized performance.

Based on LSI intelligent Fusion-MPT architecture, 
the LSIU320 provides outstanding I/O performance 
while enabling extremely high host processor  
efficiency. This means that there is virtually no 
burden placed on the Host CPU and throughput 
scales at very close to 100% as additional cards 
are added to a system. Additionally, the Fusion-
MPT architecture enables an exceptionally thin, 
common device driver for any given OS.
