Before removing the Card Reader board, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.

Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet

Remove the Card Reader board:
1.
Release the Card Reader board cable (1) from the base enclosure. (The Card Reader board cable
is attached to the base enclosure with double-sided tape.)

Disconnect the Card Reader board cable (2) from the system board.
3.
Remove the three Phillips PM2.5×4.5 screws (3) that secure the Card Reader board to the
base enclosure.
