Selecting Audio Output
If you have a audio system that has only 2 speakers
L/R  input,  you  must  change  the  setting  of  speaker
output, from Multichannel to Two channel.

INITIAL SETUP OPERATION
Press the SET UP button, during stop mode.
Press 
to select Audio Output and press
to select “ PCM only” or “Stream/PCM”.
Press 
to  select  Speaker  Output  and
press 
to  select  “Multichannel”  or  Two
channel.
When  you  select  the  “Multichannel”,  select
Center  speaker,  Surround  speakers,
Subwoofer on or off.
Press
to  move  the  cursor  to  desired
speaker  and  press  “ENTER”  to  toggle  the
speaker output.
To exit SET UP menu
Press RETURN or SETUP button.

At the SET UP screen
Each DVD disc has a variety of audio output options.
Set the player’s DIGITAL AUDIO output according to
the type of audio system you use.
If  you  have  a  receiver  equipped  with  a  Dolby  Digital
Decoder, you can listen to Dolby Digital Sound using
the “Stream/PCM” setting.

Note
When connected through Digital Audio Output and
“PCM only” is selected at the Audio Output set-up,
Speaker Output should be set to “Two Channel”. 
Otherwise,  center  and  surround  channels’  sound
will  not  be  heard  when  playing  discs  recorded  in
multichannel such as Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS.
