SNMP-based monitoring
The Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)
facilitates the exchange of management information
between network devices.
An agent resides in the FibreBridge which takes
information from the FibreBridge and translates it into
a form compatible with SNMP. If certain conditions
arise, the agent sends asynchronous notifications
(traps) to a client.
Note
Consult your network administrator for further
assistance with SNMP.
