2. In a new folder, the picture file numbering starts over from 0001.

You can perform file number reset function in the camera “SET” working mode.

1. Turn the mode dial to SET (

2. Press DOWN button (

) until the File NO. REST (

) is

highlighted.

3. Press RIGHT/LEFT button (

) to select ON/OFF.

4. Press UP/DOWN button to complete the setting and move to the

next one .

ON - The camera assigns all subsequent file numbers sequentially in

ascending order, starting from the last number used. If a new card in-

serted in the camera, the image file number will continue from the last

number used.

OFF - When this option is selected, the camera does not store the last

file number used. When another memory card is inserted or a new folder

is created, the image file number starts from the lowest number available.

 If the memory card is formatted, the folder number and the file number

will be initialized and count from 100 and 0001 respectively regardless

of the File No. Reset setting.
