(2) Click on the icon to pop-up the “Safely remove device” message, select 

“USB Mass Storage Device”, and click on the “Stop” icon.

(3) “Stop a hardware device” dialogue, and click on the “OK” icon.   

(4) There will be a message indicating that it is now safe to remove USB 

Mass Storage Device. After that you can go ahead and unplug the USB cable 

from the player.

In Windows® 98SE, you can unplug the USB cable immediately after the 

data transferring finishes (when the indicator stops flashing). None of the above 

steps is necessary.

▲CAUTION: Please follow the instructions when you disconnect your 

player to the computer. Do not pull out the USB cable during data transferring, 

or it may cause data loss or freezing of your player or computer.

Please refer to 4.2.3for the procedure of connecting the USB cable to the 

USB OTG cable. The player will enter the USB transfer interface automatically 

and prompt you with the “start to copy” window, as shown in the picture:

Press the “Enter” button to start copying, a window will display “USB is 

copying…” and the indicator will start flashing, which indicates the player is 

copying all the contents in the USB device to the hard disk, the file name will be 

the current time USB_YYMMDD_HHMMSS.
