We recommend you order a new print cartridge when the

rent one no longer prints satisfactorily. See

Complete the following steps to replace the print cartridge. Refer to the 
documentation that comes with the print cartridge for detailed installa-
tion information.

Lexmark does not recommend that you 

use print cartridges from a third party. Print quality 
and printer reliability cannot be guaranteed if you 
do. For best results, use Lexmark supplies with 
the printer.

Remove the used print cartridge.

Clean the printer.

Install the new print cartridge.

Replace the fuser cleaner if you are printing special label 
applications.

Follow the instructions on the new print cartridge box to return 
the used print cartridge to Lexmark for recycling.

When you return a used print cartridge, you contribute to a worldwide 
recycling effort at no cost to you.

The print cartridge warranty is voided by 

unauthorized refilling.
