announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco ONS 15327 SONET
Multiservice Platform. The last day to order the Cisco ONS 15327 SONET Multiservice
Platform is July 30, 2008. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive
support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 of the
EoL bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the
Cisco ONS 15327 SONET Multiservice Platform. Table 2 lists the product part numbers
affected by this announcement.

Although there is no exact replacement for the Cisco ONS 15327 platform and associated
hardware, the Cisco ONS 15310-MA SONET Multiservice Platform provides similar (and in some
cases superior) functionality. With the introduction of the 15310-MA CE-MR-6 card, the capability
for Gigabit Ethernet will also be available.
