strategy board game with the goal of capturing the opponent’s pieces by jumping
over them. The game, also called Draughts, is deceptively simple yet full of
intricacy. Oxford Softwork’s Checkers application, based on a world-class artificial
intelligence game engine, allows you to play a stimulating and challenging game
against the 9210i or a human opponent or if you prefer watch the communicator
play itself. The application offers four different playing levels, ranging from
beginner to expert. Multiple views, piece sets and background alternatives allow
the user the option to personalise the screen layout. Additional features include
replay of games, take back moves and request the computer to suggest a move.
