ENGINE WILL NOT START
Possible Cause

Fuel valve lever OFF.
Choke OPEN.

Engine switch OFF.
Out of fuel.
Bad fuel; generator stored
without treating or draining
gasoline, or refueled with bad
gasoline.
Low oil level caused Oil Alert
to stop engine.

Move to CLOSED unless engine
is warm.

Turn engine switch to OFF and
restart the engine.
Gap or replace spark plug
(p. 39).
Dry and reinstall spark plug.
Move to CLOSED unless engine
is warm.
Turn engine switch to ON.
Refuel (p. 30).
