IP Filtering allows the Router to discard data from certain IP addresses. 

To add a new IP filtering rule:

 

 

1.  Name: enter an application name for this IP filtering rule. 

2.  Protocol: click 

  and select a protocol from the drop down list 

– 

TCP+UDP (default), TCP, UDP, or 

3.  Filter Source IP Address: enter the source IP address to be 

filtered. The text color will turn red with 

  on the right for any 

invalid IP address entered (e.g. 

). When the IP 

address entered becomes valid, the text color changes back to 
black without 

  on the right (e.g. 

). 

4.  Filter Source Port: enter the source port number to be filtered. 

5.  Click 

. The IP filtering rule you have just entered will be added 

to the IP Filtering list.
